A Guide to Optimal Health That Explores How to Deal with Abrupt Weather Changes

Are You Being Affected by the Unpredictable Weather Change? How to Thrive Despite All the Changes Here’s How

In the blink of an eye, there has been a sudden and unexpected change in the weather. Our bodies react in specific ways depending on the temperature and the level of dryness in the air. The recent change has thrown off the delicate balance of Pitta and Vayu within us, which has resulted in a chain of repercussions, including the following:

  • Chapped lips: Your skin may become parched and your lips may become chapped as a result of the sudden heat and dryness.
  •  Darkening of the Skin: An undesirable darkening of the skin may occur as a result of this imbalance.
  • Burning Eyes: Your eyes may also feel the heat, causing that unpleasant and painful burning sensation.
  •  Having trouble sleeping and feeling restless: Having trouble getting to sleep? It’s possible that the change in the weather is to blame.
  •  Extreme Thirst and a Dry Mouth: Are you experiencing unusually dry mouth and intense thirst? It must have been the sudden change in the weather.
  •  Mouth Ulcers: These alterations have also been linked to the excruciating pain caused by mouth ulcers.

The question now is, how can we keep our health despite these conditions?

  • Sheilding yourself: To protect yourself from the sun’s rays, it’s important to remember the fundamentals, put on sunscreen, bring an umbrella, and get indoors when the sun is at its highest point in the sky.
  • Prioritise staying hydrated: As temps rise, staying hydrated is important to fight the dryness.
  • Hydration should be your top priority because rising temperatures make it more important than ever to stay hydrated to combat dryness.
  • Mindful eating: Eating mindfully requires restraining yourself from overindulging since the heat interferes with digestion. Agni can be weakened by increased Pitta and Vayu, which can result in discomfort.
  • Foods to Stay Away From You should stay away from foods that are spicy, pungent, fried, and have sour fruits, vinegar, alcohol, fermented foods, and dairy items.
  •  Go for the Earlier Dinners: Changing the times of your meals can help with digestion. Changing the times at which you eat meals can be beneficial to digestion.
  • Embrace intermittent fasting: This can give your digestive system the much-needed break it needs.
  • Fruit-forward diet: Include fruits that are high in water content, such as watermelons, citrus fruits, and berries, on the Fruit-Forward Diet.
  •  Elixir of the Ash Gourd: Start your day with some detoxifying Ash Gourd juice to restore equilibrium to your stomach and Pitta.
  • The healing touch: Consider getting a foot massage with ghee to improve your health on a more comprehensive level.

We must find some peace amidst the mayhem as we adjust to the unpredictable weather. In the middle of Mumbai is nature’s antidote to the rush and bustle of the city, serving as a reminder that even amid change, there is always a tranquil sanctuary waiting to welcome us in.
